Practical Guidance

1. Select the correct bore size according to your cutting current and plate thickness before installation.
2. Wipe the torch interior, electrode and nozzle contact surfaces thoroughly to remove oxide and metal debris.
3. Fit the electrode first, then screw on the nozzle gently. Overtightening will warp the fitting surface and ruin gas flow.
4. Ensure the compressed air is dry and pressure stays stable. Moist air will accelerate hafnium wire erosion and shorten service life.
5. Stop cutting and swap the kit promptly if you spot flickering arc, rough kerf or obvious wear on the hafnium tip.
